Japan crossed the "red line" with Taiwan's statements

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi sharply criticized the Japanese government's statements on Taiwan. According to him, the current leaders of Japan have sent an incorrect signal about the possibility of military intervention.

In his statement, Wang Yi said, "Japan said things that shouldn't be said, crossed the red line that shouldn't be touched. This is a surprising situation." He also stated that China would respond decisively to this situation.

The Chinese official also reminded that all countries are responsible for preventing the revival of Japanese militarism.

As a reminder, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated in a statement on November 7th that if China implements a naval blockade or other pressure actions around Taiwan, this could be grounds for a military response from Japan.
