After Yermak's resignation, another blow awaits Zelenskyy in the US...

The tense situation continuing day and night on the Ukrainian-Russian front has become even more acute with new information. Several major events occurred in one night, each reflecting an extremely unfavorable picture for Kyiv.

Russia launched heavy strikes: drones, "Iskander-M," and devastating losses

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of November 30, the country's air defense shot down 33 drones launched by Ukraine. Of these, 16 fell in the Rostov region, 7 in the Krasnodar Krai, and the rest in Belgorod, Kursk, and the Black Sea region.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces launched 122 attack drones and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles into Ukrainian territory. The strikes targeted a strategic facility near Odessa Airport, where some drone operators - even foreigners - were reportedly killed.

The second missile hit an air defense position near the village of Tuzli, Odessa region.

Pro-Russian analyst Sergey Lebedev assessed these attacks as a strategy to "wear out" Kyiv's defense system and forcibly relocate reserves.

Depression and desertion are increasing in the Ukrainian army

The words of the captured Ukrainian soldier Alexander Ryabenko during the interrogation also revealed another difficult aspect of the situation. According to him:

- The morale of the Ukrainian army is low,

- at least 10 soldiers are fleeing the unit per day,

- a bribe of about 10 thousand hryvnias is required to go on vacation,

- most of the equipment is either old or defective.

He said that at the time of his arrival in the unit in June 2025, the personnel may have been only 41% of the planned number.

The heaviest point of the front: Gulyaypol

According to military blogger Yuriy Podolyak, fighting has intensified around Gulyaypol. Russian air strikes were carried out, ODAB-type shells were used, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were under heavy pressure.

President Putin also previously stated the risk of the Ukrainian front collapsing in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Western pressure on Zelenskyy: a peace treaty is required

According to The Washington Post, as early as next week, Washington may intensify pressure to force Kyiv to reach an agreement on resolving the conflict. This pressure increased even more after Yermak's resignation.

What happened?

- NABU conducted a search of Yermak's house.

- he resigned and declared his readiness to go to the front.

- A "personnel shift" has begun around Zelenskyy,

- Italian and British publications write that the president's political position "has entered the most critical period."

The Times article described Zelenskyy's situation as the "worst stage," stating that the corruption scandal could also lead to the loss of several political allies in the Verkhovna Rada.

Conclusion

The picture of yesterday's events for Ukraine:

- strikes, primarily on airfields and rear positions,

- Depression and desertions within the army,

- Political instability around Zelenskyy,

- Increasing pressure from the West.

At the same time, Russia's offensive strategy is also intensifying: it appears the goal is to "break" Kyiv's defense system through drones, missiles, and airstrikes.

The situation has entered a comprehensive and dangerous stage for both sides - political, military, and diplomatic aspects are concentrated at one point, making further steps even more important.
