Belarus will begin production of its own civilian aircraft in 2029-2030

Belarus plans to create its own civilian aircraft by 2029-2030. This was announced by the head of the Belarusian presidential administration, Dmitry Krutoy, on the "Belarus 1" television channel.

Dmitry Krutoy emphasized that Belarus is developing its aviation industry from scratch, and the pace of production is increasing year by year. "Our production growth was from 30% to 3 times," he said. Krutoy also highly appreciates Belarus's cooperation with Russia in the field of aviation. Good connections have been established with major plants in the aviation industry, including the Minsk and Orsha plants. However, Krutoy noted that there are some difficulties in cooperating with Russian manufacturers.

The goal is the development of a new aviation school and technologies. According to Krutoy, Belarus's main plan is to create a civil aircraft that will be fully operational by 2029-2030.

The development of Belarus's aviation industry and the development of new aircraft are expected to bring significant economic and industrial achievements to the republic.
