The interest of Uzbek citizens in traveling to Turkey continues to grow. According to official data, over 230,800 citizens from Uzbekistan traveled to Turkey for various purposes from January to October 2025. This is a 16.3% increase compared to the same period last year, indicating that Turkey remains one of the most popular destinations for Uzbek travelers.
According to figures published by the National Statistics Committee, the 230,844 visitors to Turkey are categorized as follows:
- 172,400 people traveled for leisure and tourism purposes;
- 51,300 people visited relatives and friends;
- 2,300 people went for educational purposes;
- 3,300 people chose Turkey for medical treatments;
- 1,600 people traveled as part of business trips.
Experts note that Turkey's service quality, convenient logistics, rich historical and cultural atmosphere, as well as budget-friendly travel packages, make it an increasingly attractive destination for Uzbek tourists. Cities like Antalya, Istanbul, and Izmir, in particular, maintain high demand throughout the year.
Thus, Turkey continues to strengthen its position as one of the most popular destinations among Uzbek citizens not only for leisure but also for education, medical treatments, and business trips.
