
Hong Kong police reported that they detained a passenger in connection with the incident that occurred on Cathay Pacific flight CX811 on December 11.
According to reports, on December 10, a passenger on a plane flying from Boston to Hong Kong was immediately detained by service personnel while attempting to open the aircraft door. As a result of the incident, no physical injuries or risks were observed.
An official from Cathay Pacific said, "Our air navigation officer immediately noticed the situation, checked the door was completely closed and safe, and reported the incident to the relevant authorities and the police."
