The Tajik government provided housing to the mother of Qobiljon, who died in Moscow

The government of Tajikistan allocated a house to Nilufar Safoeva, the mother of 10-year-old Qobiljon Aliyev, who tragically died at a school in the Moscow region. This was reported by the publication "Asia-Plus."

According to Kobiljon's relatives, the housing was provided on behalf of the government of the country, but it is not clear which government agency officially provided it. At the same time, it is noted that yesterday morning several high-ranking officials visited the family and expressed their condolences.

The relatives of the deceased child appealed to the public, stating that they do not currently need additional financial assistance. According to them, the bank account opened in the name of Kobiljon Aliyev's mother has been closed, therefore citizens were asked not to transfer money to any accounts.

As a reminder, Qobiljon Aliyev became a victim of a crime committed on December 16th in the Moscow region based on nationalist ideology. His body was brought to Tajikistan on December 18 and buried on the same day in the village of Ajami, Shahrinav district.

The publication notes that this is not the only case in Russia committed on the basis of racial hatred towards Tajik children. Experts attribute such tragedies to the atmosphere of hostility towards migrants, the lack of decisive measures against nationalism and xenophobia.
