Another large-scale air attack carried out by Russia against Ukraine has led to casualties among civilians. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles were used during the attack. Most of the strikes hit residential areas and civilian facilities.
According to official information, at least three people were killed as a result of the attack. Among them was a four-year-old child living in the Zhytomyr region. It is also reported that women and elderly people were injured. In some areas, houses were destroyed and residents were left homeless.
Emergency services are providing assistance to the injured, and rescue operations are underway in the affected areas. Local authorities say that measures to protect civilians need to be strengthened.
The Ukrainian leadership has called on the international community to take strong measures in response to attacks that lead to civilian deaths. Experts stress that the safety of children and civilians must be the top priority.
