The United States announced temporary administration in Venezuela

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro was captured as a result of a special military operation and brought to the United States. He is currently being held in custody in New York and faces charges related to drug trafficking. Trump said the action was taken to stop the political crisis in Venezuela.
According to President Trump, the United States will temporarily govern Venezuela until a safe political transition takes place. He emphasized that the country’s oil infrastructure will be restored and efforts will be made to ensure economic stability. Trump also said the United States would not hesitate to maintain military forces in Venezuela if necessary.
In Venezuela, Maduro’s close allies say his capture was illegal and accuse the United States of violating the country’s sovereignty. At the same time, uncertainty has grown among the population, and security measures have been strengthened in some areas. The issue of temporary authority in the country remains controversial.
The international community has reacted differently to the actions of the United States. The United Nations and several countries stressed the need to respect international law. The situation in Venezuela is expected to remain an important topic in regional and global politics in the coming days.
