Drone attack in Rostov: fires, injuries, and a harsh night...

On the night of Wednesday, January 14th, four people, including a four-year-old child, were reported injured in an airstrike in Rostov-on-Don and the Myasnikovsky district of Russia. Rostov Oblast Governor Yuriy Slyusar stated that the condition of the victims was assessed by doctors as moderately serious. Also, after the "fall of drone debris," a fire broke out on the territory of an unnamed industrial enterprise.
Rostov-on-Don Mayor Alexander Skryabin stated that fires were observed in some apartments in multi-story buildings in the city as a result of the attack. According to him, fires were also recorded in industrial buildings.
Russia: 48 drones reportedly shot down
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that duty air defense systems shot down 48 Ukrainian "aircraft-type" unmanned aerial vehicles over Crimea (the annexed territory) and several regions of Russia. It was noted that 25 of them were over Rostov Oblast.
Telegram channels: There may be a strike around "Empils"
The Ukrainian monitoring channel "Ekhilenova+" wrote that drones in Rostov-on-Don struck reservoirs storing petroleum products in the territory of the "Empils" plant. According to the channel, the fire was said to have intensified in that area, and it was reported that air defense was actively working towards both residential buildings and reservoirs.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not officially commented on the events in the Rostov region until the publication of the report.
In Kriviy Rig, too, a heavy night: light and heat were cut off
It was reported that the situation in Ukraine was also tense that night. The city of Kryvyi Rih is said to have been subjected to a mass attack by Shahed-type drones. According to the head of the city defense council, Alexander Vilkul, as a result of the attack, more than 45,000 subscribers were left without electricity, and more than 700 houses were left without heat.
What conclusion?
These events show one more thing: cities far from the front lines are also experiencing the "cold breath" of this war - on the one hand fires and injuries, and on the other - the electricity and heat problem in the middle of winter.
The main hope is that the victims will recover quickly, and for the civilian population, such nights will be over.
