It was revealed that pieces of the Kaaba’s kiswah were sent to Epstein as a gift

In recently disclosed documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case, information was found that pieces of the sacred cloth from the Kaaba in Mecca — the kiswah — were sent to the United States. It is said that the shipments were arranged through connections linked to the United Arab Emirates and were delivered to Epstein.

The documents state that in February–March 2017, a businesswoman named Aziza al-Ahmadiy, in cooperation with Abdullah al-Maari, sent three pieces of the Kaaba’s black kiswah with gold embroidery.

The kiswah is considered extremely sacred in the Islamic world: every year the old cloth is removed from the Kaaba and a new one is installed. The previous kiswah pieces are regarded as rare artifacts with religious and historical significance.

According to Epstein files, the cargo was sent from Saudi Arabia to Florida by air freight through British Airways. It is reported that the shipment was delivered to Epstein’s home in Florida in March 2017. By that time, he had already been convicted and registered as a sex offender.

In one of the emails, Ahmadiy addressed Epstein and specifically emphasized the religious significance of the cloth. However, the correspondence did not disclose why these items were sent specifically to him and how the acquaintance between the parties began.
