World War II bomb found in Paris

A large-scale evacuation was carried out in the northern part of Paris, the French capital, due to the discovery of a World War II-era explosive device in the Colombe area. This was reported by foreign media, including The Local.
According to reports, the bomb was discovered on April 10 of this year during construction work. Following this, security measures were tightened, and the area within a radius of 450 meters around the find was completely cleared.
The area was immediately closed and work began to neutralize the explosive device. However, the experts' initial attempts were unsuccessful. As a result, the old military ammunition was destroyed on-site by controlled blasting.
Hundreds of police officers were involved in the operation, and temporary shelters were organized for the evacuated population. The process was carried out under full control and in an orderly manner.
According to official reports, the special operation was successfully completed, and the threat was completely eliminated.
