Protester throws paint at Reza Pahlavi in Berlin (video)

The incident occurred following a press conference attended by Pahlavi. Footage shows a man approaching him and splashing a bright red liquid over Pahlavi.
According to preliminary information, the attacker may be a supporter of the current Iranian government. The red liquid used served as a symbol for blood and was likely tomato juice. The man was detained by police following the incident.
Since December 2025, Pahlavi has been supporting protests in Iran, calling for the overthrow of the current government and urging Iranian security forces and officials to "side with the people." He also publicly expressed joy regarding the death of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei.
