Trump criticizes Mers: "Do not interfere in US affairs

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a sharp statement regarding German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. He called on the Chancellor to interfere less in the internal and foreign policy of the United States, recommending that he focus his attention on problems within Germany.
Writing on his Truth Social page, Trump stated that Merz should first focus on resolving issues in his own country. In particular, he criticized the migration policy and energy system in Germany, emphasizing the need for serious reforms in these areas.
“The German leader has been ineffective in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine. Now he should focus on fixing the system in his own country,” Trump emphasized.
The U.S. leader also commented on the fight against the nuclear threat posed by Iran, noting that external interference in U.S. actions in this direction is inappropriate. In his view, these very measures serve to ensure global security, including the stability of Germany.
It should be recalled that earlier, Merz had criticized the U.S. strategy regarding Iran, stating that Washington lacked a clear plan. He also noted that Tehran was choosing tactics favorable to itself during the negotiation process.
According to analysts, this sharp exchange of views between the two leaders may signal that new tensions are emerging in transatlantic relations.
