A 29-year-old girl in China has gained popularity on social media for her unusual and dangerous profession. She cares for over 60,000 venomous snakes, earning nearly $147,000 a year.

Xin was born in 1995 in Guangxi Province. After graduating from university, despite her father's opposition, she returned to her village and began working at a farm that breeds and cares for snakes.

Today, she cares for over 50,000 highly venomous snakes and about 10,000 cobras. She says that snake-derived products are used in various fields: dried snakes and their parts are used in traditional medicine, while snake venom is an important raw material for medical research.

According to reports, the price of 1 gram of snake venom can reach up to $30, and snake meat is valued at up to $150.

Today, Xin is known on social media as the “snake venom collector girl,” sharing the secrets of this dangerous yet profitable profession with her thousands of followers.
