Russia will begin serial production of BAZ trucks in the summer

In the summer of 2025, serial production of new BAZ trucks will begin in Russia. These models will not be inferior to such large brands as Volvo and Mercedes-Benz in terms of off-road characteristics. This was reported by TASS.

BAZ is a new competitor in the off-road truck market

According to Dmitry Grechukhin, General Director of Romanov JSC, BAZ trucks are being developed to replace models from the world's seven leading large truck manufacturers - Volvo, MAN, Scania, Mercedes, DAF, Iveco and Renault.

“In terms of off-road capability, BAZ trucks will surpass their competitors and come close to Tatra models,” said Grechukhin.

In 2025, 200 trucks will be produced, and in 2027, 2,000 trucks

According to Grechukhin, the new trucks are currently undergoing certification. It is planned to produce 200 BAZ trucks in the summer of 2025, and by 2027, the annual volume will reach 2,000. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
