What cars are produced the most in Uzbekistan?

The Statistics Agency has announced which cars are produced the most in Uzbekistan.

According to the published analysis, the number of passenger cars produced in Uzbekistan in January decreased. The most produced car in January this year was Cobalt - 5,660 units (68% more than in the same period last year).

Also, in January 2025:
- 2,765 Damas;
- 1,978 Kia;
- 1,462 Onix;
- 1,334 Tracker;
- 802 BYD;
- 594 Chery;
- 643 special passenger cars;
- 373 Haval cars were produced.

Earlier, the Statistics Agency published data on industrial production in January 2025.

According to it, in January 2025, less gasoline was produced - 99 tons. In the same period last year, this figure was 124.6 tons. In January, diesel production especially sharply decreased. In the first month of winter, 33.2 tons of diesel were produced, while in January 2024 this figure was 50.2 tons.

In January, the prices of domestic passenger cars decreased compared to December 2024.

In particular:

Onix: low-use — 2.4 percent (from $14,350 to $14,000), high-use — 1.5 percent (from $13,000 to $12,800);
Lacetti: low-use — 0.7 percent (from $15,000 to $14,900), medium-use — 1.4 percent (from $14,500 to $14,300), high-use — 1.7 percent (from $13,327 to $13,095);
Cobalt: low-use — 1.4 percent (from $12,901 to $12,725), medium-use — 2.4 percent (from $12,300 to $12,000), high-use — 1.7 percent (from $11,700 to $11,500);
Nexia: medium-use — 1.8 percent (from $11,400 to $11,200); heavy-use — (from $10,500 to $10,465);
Spark: medium-use — 1 percent (from $10,300 to $10,200), heavy-use — 1.1 percent (from $9,300 to $9,200);
Damas: light-use — 0.5 percent (from $8,135 to $8,098), medium-use — 1.4 percent (from $8,000 to $7,886), heavy-use — 4.1 percent (from $7,300 to $7,000).

Local Luxury Car Prices

While the average prices of the lightly used Equinox and Malibu increased, prices for the moderately and heavily used models continued to decline.

In particular:

Malibu: average used — decreased by 2.1 percent (from $29,100 to $28,500), heavy used — by 1.6 percent (from $25,000 to $24,600), while the average price for light used increased by 1.2 percent (from $29,650 to $30,000);
Equinox: medium-used — decreased by 1.6 percent (from $30,500 to $30,000), while the average price for heavy-used remained unchanged ($26,500), while light-used increased by 0.9 percent (from $34,000 to $34,308);
Tracker: light-used — decreased by 1.6 percent (from $18,700 to $18,403), medium-used — decreased by 2.3 percent (from $17,700 to $17,300), and heavy-used — decreased by 2.9 percent (from $17,000 to $16,500).

Electric car prices

While the prices of the most popular electric cars BYD E2: ($15,250) and Yuan Up ($20,000) remained unchanged during the period, the average prices of other electric cars decreased:

BYD E2: new — by 1.8 percent (from $17,100 to $16,800), average used — by 2.9 percent (from $15,970 to $15,500);
BYD Han: new — by 0.9 percent (from $32,500 to $32,200), popular used — by 2.9 percent (from $31,750 to $31,250);
BYD Song Plus DM-i Champion: new — 0.3 percent (from $29,100 to $29,000), moderately used — 1.1 percent (from $27,200 to $26,900), heavily used — 2.8 percent (from $24,999 to $24,300);
BYD Song Plus EV Champion: new — 1.4 percent (from $28,500 to $28,090), moderately used — 3.6 percent (from $26,600 to $25,650), heavily used — 2.9 percent (from $24,050 to $23,350).

Foreign car prices

Elantra: medium used — 2.3 percent (from $21,500 to $21,000); heavy used — 4.8 percent (from $21,000 to $19,995);
Tucson: light used — 1.5 percent (from $33,500 to $33,000), medium used — 0.8 percent (from $31,750 to $31,500); heavy used — 2 percent (from $25,500 to $25,000);
Sportage: light used — 1.4 percent (from $29,000 to $28,600), medium used — 1.8 percent (from $27,500 to $27,000);
Seltos: popular — down 2.1 percent (from $23,500 to $23,000).
