Aston Martin is best known for its powerful and luxurious sports cars, but the company occasionally releases unique models. One such example is the 2025 Aston Martin Cygnet, built on the Toyota iQ platform. This model was created as a custom order, meaning it won’t be mass-produced.
The first Cygnet concept was introduced in 2018, but the project traces back to the early 2000s, when the company’s former CEO envisioned a compact city car based on the Toyota iQ. However, the final version is completely different from previous prototypes.

In just 10 months, engineers replaced Toyota’s 1.33L, 97-hp engine with a 4.7L V8 from the Vantage S, boasting 430 horsepower and a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The price of this compact powerhouse is set at $566,000. In addition to the engine swap, the model features front and rear subframes from the Vantage, a safety cage, Recaro bucket seats, and a carbon fiber instrument panel. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
