Is it true that paid parking is arbitrarily setting prices?

The Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection has begun an inspection of paid parking lots.

As part of the inspection, it was revealed that 66 companies, including parking operators in Tashkent, have superior bargaining power. Currently, cases of their unilateral influence on prices and conditions are being investigated.

The Committee may recognize them as companies with a significant influence on the terms of trade agreements and service areas, rather than a dominant position in the market. If this is confirmed, the committee will begin official monitoring of their activities.
