Movement of cars will be restricted in Tashkent on an odd-even basis

According to a presidential decree aimed at improving the environmental situation in Tashkent, new traffic restrictions will be introduced in the capital. These measures are aimed at purifying the atmosphere and reducing harmful emissions.

According to the decree, the movement of freight vehicles in Tashkent will be temporarily restricted. This ban takes effect on certain days or at certain hours.

Also, the movement of passenger cars is regulated on an odd-even basis with license plates. On odd dates, only cars with odd numbers are allowed to move, and on even dates, cars with even numbers.

In this procedure, electric vehicles are excluded, and they can move freely on any day. This approach contributes to the promotion of environmentally friendly vehicles.

The Special Commission determines the timeframe for the implementation of this procedure and control mechanisms. The introduction of restrictions is carried out simultaneously with the notification of the population.
