The automotive industry of Uzbekistan showed significant growth rates in the first month of 2026. According to the Statistics Agency, a total of 22,099 passenger cars were produced in the country's factories in January. This figure is 6.5 thousand units higher than in the same period last year. Chevrolet brand models lead in terms of production volume. In particular, the Chevrolet Cobalt sedan became the most popular model in January, with 6,993 vehicles rolling off the assembly line in one month. Chevrolet Damas took second place with 3,628 units.
The top three was rounded out by the Chevrolet Onyx model. In January, 1,974 of these cars were produced. The Uzbek automotive market continues to increase its production capacity, and these figures indicate stable growth in the coming months.
