Tesla begins serial production of Semi trucks at Nevada plant
Tesla has announced the start of serial production of its Semi trucks at the Gigafactory in Nevada, marking a significant milestone after several years of delays. The new production line has the capacity to assemble up to 50,000 trucks annually, with two versions available: the Standard Range model, which can travel 523 kilometers and is priced at $260,000, and the Long Range model, capable of 805 kilometers for $290,000. Each truck is equipped with a three-motor electric powertrain and supports fast charging, allowing for a 60% charge in just 30 minutes, with batteries produced on-site.

The batteries are manufactured directly at the plant itself.
