In Turkish show business, one of the most discussed topics in recent days has been the news that famous actress Hande Erçel and prominent businessman Hakan Sabancı have ended their relationship, reports Peopletalk.
The rumors started after Hande deleted all photos with her boyfriend from her social media pages. Shortly after, local media and well-known journalist Birsen Altuntaş confirmed this information, stating that although no official breakup has yet been announced, a very serious quarrel took place between the couple. Interestingly, Hakan has not yet deleted their joint photos and they both still follow each other on social media. This detail gave some fans hope for a reconciliation, while many others are convinced that the relationship has already come to an end.
Hande and Hakan were one of the most talked-about couples in Turkey for nearly three years. They regularly appeared together at events, shared moments from their travels, and captivated the public with their sincere relationship. One of their last major public appearances was at a wedding ceremony in Lebanon, where the couple shone in front of the cameras.
The exact reason for the breakup is still unknown. Various speculations are circulating online: some believe it is simply a personal conflict, while others suggest it is a PR move ahead of the release of the series “Queen of Tears.” Nevertheless, for many fans, this news became even more intriguing than the series itself.
It should be reminded that Hande Erçel and Hakan Sabancı’s relationship became public in March 2023, when the couple was first spotted together at the airport on their way to Paris. This happened shortly after the actress broke up with her colleague from the series “Knock on My Door,” Kerem Bürsin. In May of the same year, they made their first public appearance as an official couple. Hakan is the heir to the business empire of his grandfather, billionaire Sakıp Sabancı, who founded Sabancı Holding, currently the second-largest conglomerate in Turkey.
