The famous Turkish singer Yıldız Tilbe has launched a large aid marathon in Gaza and other regions where the crisis has intensified. Throughout the month of Ramadan, the singer is serving iftar every day in Gaza for 12,000 people who are suffering from hunger as a result of armed clashes.
It is noted that Tilbe delivers hot meals for iftar to those in need through non-governmental organizations, and she has already completed the stages of financing the iftar events.
The singer is not limiting this good deed to just one region; under the slogan “Every home should have hot food!”, she is extending a helping hand to people in need across a wide geographical area. The aid is planned to be delivered to regions such as Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, East Turkestan (China’s Xinjiang region), Ethiopia, South Sudan, Arakan, and Kashmir as well.
The organizational part of the Ramadan iftar table is being managed on behalf of Tilbe by the Jerusalem Volunteers Association.
