Nilufar Usmonova: “I used to go to my neighbors to eat” (video)

Singer Nilufar Usmonova shared her childhood memories on the "Xush kelibsiz" program on the "Navo TV" channel, telling an interesting and sincere story.
According to her, she often visited the house of her friend Jamshid Bobojonov in her youth. The main reason was that there was always a lot of delicious food in their home.
“I used to go to my friend’s house often. Because they always had very tasty dishes: lagman, khanum, norin... At our house, mostly diet food was prepared — vegetable salads, spinach, rice. But such food is not very appealing to children. I liked samsa and kazan kebab. That’s why their house always seemed rich in food to me,” the singer said.
According to Nilufar, at that time they even created their own “signals.” To invite each other or to say that food was ready, they used different signs.
“At that time, we would knock on the pipe to signal each other. For example: come outside, no one is at home, or the food is ready. I would immediately go to their house and enjoy eating lagman or fried pasta,” she recalled.
During the conversation, the host asked:
“Who was the diet food prepared for?”
Nilufar replied:
“This food was prepared for my mother. As a child, I grew up in Margilan at my grandmother’s house. There, I was raised on bread baked in a tandoor made with cow’s milk. That’s why I was a chubby girl. When I came to my mother’s home and saw such diet food, it was difficult for me. That’s why I often went to the neighbors to eat. When my mother asked, ‘Did you drink soup?’ I would say yes. Of course, my mother knew that I hadn’t and that I had eaten at the neighbors’,” she concluded.
These sincere memories attracted great interest among fans and reminded many of their childhood.
