Nigora Karimboyeva: “There was a time when I suffered from ‘star fever’”

Nigora Karimboyeva: “Yulduzlik kasaliga uchragan paytim ham boʻlgan”

Actress Nigora Karimboyeva appeared as a guest on the "Mening oshxonam" project, where she spoke openly about the difficult periods she experienced during her creative career.

The artist did not hide the fact that the condition known as "star fever" was not foreign to her:

“Yes, I also suffered from star fever. I admit it. Because this situation occurs in the life of almost every artist. However, I later pulled myself together and came to my senses.”

According to her, this period occurred mainly near her middle age—around the age of 30. At that time, she performed roles in many state films, participated in various film festivals, and reached the peak of her popularity.

“Sometimes, if someone said something, I would think to myself, 'Is this it? Is this what you deemed worthy of me?' At that time, a person carries themselves differently,” the actress said.

Nigora Karimboyeva also touched upon the negative consequences of this condition:

“When you are afflicted with star fever, you are 'dropped from above.' You stop being invited to places, and in some circles, people look at you differently. There are even remarks like 'don't invite her.'”

The actress emphasized that such situations force a person to regain their perspective:

“After that, you gradually come to your senses and pull yourself together. You learn to speak politely with people and maintain simple manners. Over time, everything falls into place.”

At the conclusion of the conversation, she shared an important realization:

“If a person does not take control of themselves and pull themselves together at that moment, they may disappear from the arts entirely.”

This sincere confession is being warmly received by fans and serves as an important lesson for many young creators in the world of art.
