Film and theater actress Anjelika Yesimbetova was a guest on the “Ayol qalbi” program on the “Milliy” TV channel, where she spoke openly about the most difficult and touching periods of her life. During the interview, the actress shared her experience of natural weight loss, her creative goals, and her dream of starting a family.
The actress said that due to thyroid problems, she had to take hormonal medications, which led to a sharp increase in her weight. At that time, she was preparing for the film “Namozshomgul,” and according to the role's requirements, she had to appear overweight first and then significantly thinner.
At that time, her weight reached 151 kilograms. According to the script, she was required to lose at least 30 kilograms. The actress emphasized that she did not resort to any surgery or artificial methods during this process. For four months, she almost cut herself off from the outside world, focusing solely on fitness, proper nutrition, and following the advice of specialists.
As a result, she lost 12 kilograms in the first month, 33 kilograms in three months, and another 7 kilograms after filming, shedding a total of 40 kilograms.
Anjelika Yesimbetova also emphasized that educational values should come first in state-funded films, noting that healthy and natural methods, rather than easy paths, should serve as an example for people.
During the conversation, the actress also touched upon her personal life. According to her, her father initially did not want her to become an actress, citing the difficulty of building a family in this profession. Despite this, she chose the acting path and took on great responsibility for her family.
The actress did not hide the fact that questions about why she is not married are difficult for her to hear.
She noted that fame and the love of fans do not make a person completely happy. Her biggest dream is to start a family, have children, and at the same time achieve high results in her creative career.
Anjelika Yesimbetova said she plans to work internationally in the future, even continuing her career in America. She also emphasized that she dreams of becoming the first female actress in the history of Uzbek and Karakalpak art to win an Oscar.
