The Central Bank of Uzbekistan set new exchange rates for foreign currencies, effective November 27, 2025. These updated indicators show a significant decrease in the value of the main foreign currencies against the national currency.
The most noticeable change is in the US dollar. The green currency decreased by 55.29 soums and was set at 11,881.60 soums. This daily dynamic reflects a short-term decline in the dollar.
The European Union's euro also decreased significantly - by 19.81 soums, the updated exchange rate reached 13,749.39 soums. At the same time, the pound sterling also slightly lost its position, decreasing by 26.29 soums and strengthening at the level of 15,652.82 soums.
A downward trend was also recorded in the currencies of neighboring countries. In particular, the Russian ruble fell by 0.51 soums and was set at 151.05 soums. The Kazakh tenge decreased by 0.13 soums to 22.91 soums.
In general, these movements in the foreign exchange market are inextricably linked with domestic economic factors, external financial trends, and innovations in the global market. According to experts, such short-term fluctuations in exchange rates are part of the natural dynamics of the market.
The new courses officially take effect from November 27. Those who are active in the financial sector and those engaged in commerce are advised to closely monitor these changes.
