According to updated figures published by the National Statistics Committee, in January-October 2025, the value of market services provided in our country reached 818.5 trillion soums. This indicator once again confirms that the service sector has become one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy.

As can be seen from the data, the "locomotive" of the services market is still the city of Tashkent. The capital has an absolute advantage and is distinguished by the fact that it alone provides a large share of the total volume of services in the country. The next places are occupied by Samarkand, Fergana, and Tashkent regions - in these regions, the service infrastructure, shopping centers, transport links, and industrial activity are actively developing.
Experts note that the main reason for the rapid growth of the service sector in the capital is the large consumer market as a very densely populated region. It also houses business centers, financial institutions, shopping malls, various service providers, and innovative startups. All this further strengthens the service sector in Tashkent, bringing the economic movement into a large cycle.
Growth in this area is also expected in other regions of the country. Because in a short period of time, the renewal of infrastructure, the introduction of new types of services, and the expansion of digital services will completely change the market landscape and intensify competition.
The growth trend in the industry indicates that the service sector may become one of the most profitable and vibrant sectors of the national economy in the coming years.
