The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set new exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Som, effective from March 24, 2026. According to the updated data, mixed dynamics are observed among the major global currencies.
Specifically, the US Dollar continues its upward trend, increasing by 13.21 Som to reach 12,192.06 Som. This figure indicates that the dollar maintains its consistently high position in the domestic market.
On the contrary, a decrease was recorded in the value of other major currencies. The Euro exchange rate dropped by 56.7 Som, falling to 13,996.48 Som. The Russian Ruble also saw a decline of 3.54 Som, settling at 143.00 Som.
The status of other currencies is as follows: the British Pound stands at 16,197.15 Som, the Swiss Franc at 15,361.04 Som, and the Chinese Yuan at 1,766.84 Som. The Japanese Yen slightly decreased to 76.60 Som.
