Child in Bukhara saved through surgery after swallowing two coins
An incident in Bukhara region has become a serious reminder for all parents to be vigilant. In the Karakul district, a two-year-old child was left unattended and accidentally swallowed two 1-ruble coins.

According to the Regional Health Department, the coins became lodged in the child’s esophagus and began to negatively affect his breathing. The situation was assessed as critical, and urgent medical help was provided.

Healthcare workers immediately performed a complex but minimally invasive (i.e., incision-free) operation. The operation was successfully completed, and the foreign objects were removed from the child’s body without causing harm.

Currently, the child is under medical supervision at the hospital. His condition is stable and there is no cause for concern.

Doctors emphasize that such incidents often happen due to parental negligence and urge all parents to closely monitor their children at all times.

As a reminder, small children tend to put various objects into their mouths, which can lead to dangerous situations.
