The law “On Amendments and Changes to the Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code and the Code of Administrative Responsibility in connection with the improvement of the road safety system” was adopted.
According to the amendments to the Criminal Code, criminal liability was established for the following:
🔹For illegal preparation, transfer or use of state license plates or identification numbers of motor vehicles and their trailers (semi-trailers), as well as forgery;
🔹For violation of the procedure for training and retraining drivers of motor vehicles, urban electric vehicles and tractor drivers, as well as for conducting exams and issuing certificates;
🔹For driving a vehicle while intoxicated or evading inspection;
🔹For driving a vehicle by a person who has been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle;
🔹For violating safety regulations when using vehicles running on compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, or a mixture of diesel and kerosene fuel.
The law comes into force from the date of its official publication.
