A “Spiritual Garden of Neighborhood Youth” was established in the city of Nurafshan, Tashkent region. Initially, irrigation systems were installed on the land plots and preparations were made for tree planting. More than 7 thousand tree seedlings, such as paulownia, white poplar, willow, cherry, mulberry, vine, and linden, were planted on an area of 8.5 hectares in the garden.
As part of the “Green Space” nationwide project, 1,165,189 tree seedlings were planted by young people on 60 thousand hectares of land distributed to 155 thousand young people throughout the republic in 2024 and in “Youth Green Gardens”.
In the spring of 2025, "Youth Green Gardens" will be organized in 121 cities and districts of the republic, and 300 thousand tree seedlings will be planted. These events are expected to be actively attended by members of the Youth Parliament, environmental activists, students and young scientists, readers, laureates of the "Zulfiya" state prize, journalists and bloggers, athletes, artists, young entrepreneurs, youth leaders, and about 50 thousand young people.
