
Based on information provided by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, it was announced that the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan in Uzbekistan in 2025 will fall on March 1.
In this regard, from February 28, Tarawih prayers will begin in more than 2,100 mosques in Uzbekistan, and in more than 1,740 of them, the complete recitation of the Holy Quran will begin.
According to the Muslim Board, about 3.5 thousand reciters have been involved in these mosques for this purpose. Tarawih prayers will also begin today at 8:30 p.m. in 126 mosques in Tashkent.
At the same time, the Tashkent city police department announced that starting February 28, roads near some mosques will be closed during Tarawih prayers in the capital - from 18:00 to 24:00.
Earlier, the department announced the start times of Tarawih prayers in the regions. According to it:

- In Namangan – 20:20
- In Andijan – 20:20
- In Tashkent region – 20:30
- In Tashkent city – 20:30
- In Syrdarya – 20:30
- In Jizzakh – 20:30
- In Samarkand – 20:30
- In Kashkadarya – 20:40
- In Surkhandarya – 20:40
- In Navoi – 20:40
- In Bukhara – 20:40
- In Khorezm – 21:00
- In the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 21:10, evening After the prayer, the Tarawih prayer begins.
