A major fire broke out in one of the warehouses located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.

On May 14, at 11:03, a report was received about a fire in a warehouse located on Nilufar Street in the Sergeli district. 12 fire and rescue teams were immediately sent to the scene of the incident, which arrived at 11:05 and began extinguishing the fire.

It took more than an hour to bring the fire under control, and by 12:15 the fire was contained. Finally, the fire was completely extinguished at 13:31. Emergency Situations Minister Botir Kudratkhodjayev and his first deputy Sanjar Zuparov also arrived at the scene to directly monitor the situation and coordinate firefighting efforts.

There are no reports of casualties or injuries as a result of the incident. Officials are currently investigating the causes of the fire and the extent of the damage.
