Drug couriers who attempted to transport a large amount of narcotics were detained in the Tashkent region. This was officially reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the region.
During a pre-planned operational operation by the internal affairs bodies, a resident of Tashkent, born in 1998, was taken into custody. It was revealed that he was storing hashish, smuggled from a neighboring country, in a special secret place - a "zaklad" - in a house in the city of Bekabad.
As a result of operational actions, he and his companion were stopped on the way while delivering narcotics to a buyer in the city of Kokand. Despite an attempt to escape, both persons were successfully detained.
According to the law, these actions are assessed under Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan - illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs in large quantities. A criminal case has been initiated and investigative measures have been launched.
Law enforcement agencies are working to determine the involvement of other individuals in this crime. It should be emphasized that such actions not only require serious legal responsibility, but also pose a significant threat to public safety. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
