Blogger Tulyaganov's Case to Be Reconsidered

Today, July 14, the Tashkent City Court announced its appellate decision regarding the case of blogger Jahongir Tulyaganov.

According to the information, the court overturned the decision made by the Shaykhontohur District Court on June 3, 2024, and returned the case for reconsideration to the internal affairs department of the Shaykhontohur district.

Tulyaganov had previously been held liable under Article 202-2, Part 1 of the Administrative Liability Code (dissemination of false information).

Individuals and organizations dissatisfied with the court's decision have the right to file a complaint or protest to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan within six months.
