Deceived under the pretense of work in Germany: Fraudsters arrested in Tashkent

Another case of fraud occurred in Yunusabad district — false promises, fake contracts, and a money-stealing scheme via the internet were exposed, reports prokuratura.uz. According to a preliminary investigation conducted by the district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, the director of “F.A.” LLC, J.B., and manager A.A. (both previously convicted) implemented their criminal plan through widespread online advertisements.

These individuals promised employment in Germany, signed fake contracts with 9 citizens, and fraudulently obtained a total of $12,500 and 73.2 million soums from them. Investigation materials show that no job positions, visas, or official referrals were provided — all documents were forged and filled with fake seals and stamps.

A criminal case has been initiated under articles 168 (fraud) and 228 (preparation, forgery, sale, or use of documents, seals, stamps, forms) of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are ongoing — the perpetrators are expected to be held accountable before the law.

Analysts and lawyers explain the increase in such cases by exploiting the firm belief of citizens dreaming of working abroad. Fans and the public demand strict measures against such fraudulent schemes.
