In the Yangiyul district of the Tashkent region, the head of a teahouse that made kebabs from sparrow meat was punished. This was reported by the Ministry of Ecology.
It is noted that after the news of this content spread on social networks, the situation was studied by the employees of the Department of Ecology and the post-patrol service of the Department of Internal Affairs.
During the inspection, it was not found that kebabs were being made from sparrow meat in the teahouse.
When the teahouse manager was asked to explain the situation spread on social media, it became known that the situation in the video was previously recorded to increase the number of customers. The head of the teahouse said that the situation of making kebabs from sparrow meat is currently not allowed.
It is noted that an administrative report was drawn up against the head of the teahouse on the basis of part 1 of Article 63 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Illegal hunting, acceptance of fish products, collection and procurement of wild plants) and a fine of 4 million 120 thousand soums was imposed.
