According to the press service of the Samarkand region Department of Internal Affairs Road Safety Department, a traffic accident occurred on October 29 at around 20:10 in Urgut district. A student from the 156th general education school, while driving a "Damas" car, lost control of the steering wheel and narrowly missed hitting children walking in the neighborhood area.
The young man was lucky and escaped a tragedy. In connection with this incident, an administrative report was drawn up against the student’s parents under the article "Failure to fulfill obligations for raising and educating children" of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
In addition, a report was filed against the owner of the vehicle under part 2 of the article "Allowing a person without a driver’s license to drive a vehicle." The owner may face a fine of 5 basic calculation units (2,060,000 soums).
Furthermore, to prevent such cases at school, a meeting was held with the participation of the offenders.
