
A suspicious passenger was identified at Tashkent airport. This was reported by the press service of the "Toshkent-Aero" customs post.
The border customs post officers at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov conducted an additional inspection regarding a suspicious citizen. The man, dressed like a pilgrim returning from Umrah, was moving around in the general passenger hall.
He passed through customs control via the "green corridor." During inspection, it was discovered that the citizen had actually arrived in Tashkent from Delhi.
Inside his four passenger bags, 1,798 units of various medicines manufactured in India were found. The total value of these medicines amounted to 204 million 972 thousand soums.
Furthermore, the citizen did not have any documents relating to these medicines. Investigative actions are being carried out regarding this incident.
