The press service of the Qashqadaryo Regional Department of Internal Affairs has released an official statement. On November 7, at approximately 17:20, a traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred at the 1257th kilometer of the M-39 "Tashkent-Termez" highway, passing through the Guzar district of Qashqadaryo region.
As a result of a collision between "Nexia-2" and "Cobalt" vehicles, both cars suffered severe technical damage. Due to these injuries, a passenger in one of the cars died in the hospital from severe bodily injuries.
Two more citizens were hospitalized. A criminal case has been initiated under the Article "Violation of vehicle usage or safety regulations" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At present, investigative actions are underway to clarify the details of the incident.
