A woman and her two sons, who had been involved in drug trafficking for several years, were detained in Tashkent. According to the State Security Service, thanks to a special operational measure, a family-organized illegal chain of trade was uncovered.
According to the information, the traces of the entire operation were found during an uncompromising practical measure carried out by the Tashkent City Department of the State Security Service in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs and Customs officers. Family members involved in the transportation and distribution of drugs smuggled from Tajikistan to the capital were placed under preliminary observation.
During the operation, an Equinox car traveling on the "Ohangaron - Piskent" route in the Tashkent region was stopped. It was established that the 49-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son, who were in the car, were traveling to collect drugs hidden by their Tajik partners. When their mobile phones were checked, it turned out that the exact location of the narcotic substance, certain pictures, and instructions were sent via Telegram.
After that, the operatives documented 4 kg 985 grams of hashish as material evidence, which was hidden on the side of the road in the Pskent district. And that's not all - in addition, 1 kg 124 grams of opium and 1 kg 976 grams of hashish were found in their apartment in the Almazar district. During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman's second son, born in 1996, who was previously convicted, was also detained in procedural order.
A case has been initiated against this family under several serious articles of the Criminal Code - Part 2 of Article 28,246 and Part 5 of Article 25,273, and they have been taken into custody. Currently, the investigation is ongoing, and the case is expected to be fully disclosed.
The rapid detention process once again demonstrates that law enforcement agencies are waging a decisive fight against drug addiction.
