Abdumannop Boriyev has been appointed as the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights. He replaces Dilmurod Qosimov, who previously moved to the Prosecutor General’s Office. This was reported by podrobno.uz.reports.
Before being appointed as the new business ombudsman, he worked in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. There, he served on a committee dealing with anti-corruption efforts and judicial and legal system issues, and he was also a representative of the UzLiDeP party.
Over the years, Boriyev headed the Fergana Region Justice Department, and in the central office of the Ministry of Justice he led the Organizational Control and Strategic Planning Department.
From now on, his main task will be to protect the interests of private business. He will prevent unlawful interference by state bodies in entrepreneurs’ activities and monitor compliance with the requirements of laws regulating the business sector without violations.
