In Tashkent, festive events were organized as part of the traditional “Presidential Tree” campaign to support children and share the New Year spirit with them. Podrobno.uz reports.reports.
This year’s celebration invited children from the “Mehribonlik” and “Muruvvat” homes, SOS Children’s Villages, family-type children’s homes, as well as the children of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.
A program featuring staged performances, interactive games, and appearances by well-known artists was presented for participants. The event took place in a joyful atmosphere with attention given to every child.
At the end, a New Year greeting on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan was read out to the children. The address emphasized that every child is the country’s future and an invaluable treasure.
It was reported that 11.1 thousand presidential gifts were prepared this year. The set includes 24 types of school supplies and 34 kinds of sweets. The gifts are being delivered to the regions according to an approved schedule.
