According to the information service of the Fergana Region Department of Internal Affairs, measures were taken against those who committed the offense. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
On December 31, 2025, the use of homemade pyrotechnic items was identified in the region. About 15 citizens set off fireworks they had made themselves and also recorded the process on video for social media.
During the inquiry, all participants were identified, and it was found that the pyrotechnic devices had been made from improvised materials.
Administrative reports were drawn up against them under the articles of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Liability for “Petty hooliganism” and “Illegal circulation of pyrotechnic products.” The agency did not уточнить what punishment the offenders received.
