According to the press service of the Fergana Region Department of Internal Affairs, measures were taken over a pyrotechnics-related offense that occurred in Uchtepа district. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
On December 31 at 23:40 (Tashkent time), the district criminal court issued a verdict to three citizens who used homemade pyrotechnics dangerous to people’s life and health in one of the district’s villages.
They were found guilty under the Administrative Liability Code articles “Petty hooliganism” and “Illegal circulation of pyrotechnic products.” Each was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest and fined 30 BCU (12,360,000 soums).
The report notes that the offenders promised not to get involved with pyrotechnic products at all in the future.
