No fatalities in a serious traffic accident in Andijan

The press service of the Andijan Region Traffic Safety Department (IIB YHXB) reported a serious road traffic accident on the A-373 “Tashkent–Osh” highway. This was reported by upl.uzreports.

On January 2 at around 13:00 (Tashkent time), at the 321st kilometer of the road passing through the “Shurqishloq” MFY area of Shahrixon district, a Labo driver born in 1988 made a U-turn at a designated spot. At that moment, another Labo driver coming from behind failed to keep a safe distance and hit the turning vehicle.

Due to the impact, the turning Labo veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Lacetti. No one was injured, but the vehicles sustained serious technical damage. An investigation is underway.
