Ahead of the New Year, a large-scale charity initiative titled “May Your Dreams Always Come True” was launched in the country. The project brought together government agencies, business representatives, the media, and caring citizens around one goal — to fulfill New Year wishes of people who need attention and care the most. This was reported by podrobno.uzreports.
The initiative aims to support orphanage residents and children left without parental care, as well as lonely elderly people in various regions of Uzbekistan. As part of the campaign, thousands of letters were collected, with authors sharing their most cherished dreams and wishes.
According to the organizers, most letters reflect a greater need for warmth, attention, and human support than for material gifts. Each message is a personal life story and a sincere call for empathy, and this is what defines the project’s value.
The collected letters were placed in a special New Year box installed at Tashkent City Mall. Starting from January 2, anyone can choose a letter, read the author’s story, and contribute to making their dream come true.
Organizers emphasize that the initiative means more than a simple holiday campaign: it helps strengthen a culture of mutual support, compassion, and solidarity in society. In their view, even one good deed can change someone’s life and inspire confidence in the future.
