According to the SSS press service, a corruption case involving a cadastral inspector has been stopped. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
A special оператив operation was carried out jointly by the SSS, the regional department of the Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, and internal affairs bodies. As a result, an employee of the Bostanliq district branch of the Tashkent Region State Cadastral Chamber was detained while receiving 5,000 US dollars.
It was found that in exchange for this money he promised a resident of Bostanliq district to arrange cadastral documents for a house with an 8-sotka plot through his “high-ranking acquaintances.”
A criminal case has been opened under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Part 2 “Fraud” and Part 1 “Assisting in giving a bribe.” The suspect faces up to 5 years in prison.
