Traffic violation proved costly for the driver

Under the decision of the Yunusabad District Criminal Court dated November 10, 2025, it was ordered to recover material damages of 127 million 102 thousand soums from debtor citizen A.P. in favor of claimant citizen S.S.
According to the court materials, on July 17, 2025 at about 21:30, the debtor was driving his “Cobalt” vehicle at high speed and, failing to comply with the red traffic light signal, collided with a stationary “BYD” car, causing a road traffic accident. As a result, the injured citizen suffered significant material damage.
To ensure enforcement of this court decision, the enforcement writ was accepted for proceedings by the Olmazor District Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau. During enforcement actions, two vehicles registered in the debtor’s name were identified, and restrictive measures were applied to them in accordance with the procedure established by law.
As a result of the compulsory enforcement measures taken, on January 13, 2026, the full amount of material damages—127,102,000 soums—was recovered from the debtor and transferred to the claimant.
This case clearly shows that failure to follow traffic rules can cause serious harm not only to human life and health, but also to other people’s property, and can lead to substantial financial and legal liability for the offender.
